Window Came Loose

My passenger window came loose at the guide by the end of the door. It's done this before, but I could just screw the piece that came off back onto the guide.

Well, this time the guide came out. Here's a picture. It's from the top of the door and I have T-tops. In the picture you'll see the bottom of the guide looks like the bottom of a pawn piece in chess. That's the part that came out from inside the guide.



I hope this can explain it enough. Of course I'd like to get it fixed ASAP, before it rains. I don't have a garage, so rain would suck a lot and I want to avoid driving around with plastic around the door.

Sorry if I assume that a place for Z owners would be a little more welcoming and helpful. It usually is and most people are great here, but obviously not all. Like the other day a 350Z was tailing me big time on a four lane road with plenty of opportunity to pass. The he went around and cut me off. Way to be courteous to your fellow Z owners.

Any REAL help would be appreciated. Even if it's what was just said by the other guy, but more like, "That's probably something you can do w/o taking off the door. Go give it another check." By the way, did just check again, and I'm not sure what to do. The white plastic piece it connects to fell down into the door while I was trying to reconnect. Thanks everyone!

It looks like your windows roller is out of the windows rail or it's broken. Here is the part if you need to buy it http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_in ... ts_id=4398.
It is a pain to replace it as you need to remove that rail - there is a write up somewhere.
