Ok Im new to this site and Im hooked with this forum, with that said I have an 07 350Z and the problem that Im having is my passenger side window, I know their is a lot of problems with the windows of Nissans, I have had many of them for the past 15 years; any hoo the problem that Im having is that my window motor on the passenger side stopped working went to the shop and spent 300$ on a new window motor and labor and the new motor works but the auto up dosent work and the other problem that I'm having is that when the passenger door is opened the window falls the way its supposed to but it dosent go back up and everytime the door opens it falls more and more. Now I called the Nissan dealership here and they said that its the BCM; its possible but I dont buy it. I tried all the reset procedures that I could find and it dosent work I need help please. I appreciate the input.

you need to reset the windows. If memory serves me correctly, its roll the window down by holding the down button and hold it in for 15 secs, then roll window up by holding it in and hold for 15 secs. Try that.

have you tried the reset procedure where you hold the reset button on the motor itself, you must remove the door panel for this

Have you tried a new window switch yet? And if so was it an OEM switch?

I haven't tried a new window switch that's my next plan. As for the reset with the door panel off; done that too.

I was adding some eyebrow lights to my wife's '06 Phat Lady last night and needed to remove the battery to gain access to an unused fuse. Actually using the FSM, instructions to remove the battery says to roll both windows down before disconnecting the battery.

The caution states that leaving the windows up may cause damage to the window motor and or door molding.

Never heard of any other car with this restriction. Perhaps this is the cause of many of the 350Z's window problems.
