Window auto roll-down from iKey

Hi,

I have a 2011 Pathfinder LE Silver Edition. I would like to get the power window auto roll-down feature disabled, which occurs when pressing the unlock button on the iKey for more than a couple of seconds.

I went to the local dealer and after they said they couldn't disable it, I showed them the BCM programming section of the FSM for the 2010 model (obtained from this site). They responded that it can be done on the 2010 model but not the 2011 model.

Is there a Nissan tech here that can chime in, and verify this for me? Is the FSM for the 2011 model available?

Just curious: Why do you want to disable it?
I have that feature on my '02, as well as my Altima, and I think it's great.

Hi,

The problem is when the iKey is in my pants pocket. If it happens to slide or shift to my side, and I sit in a chair with arms, or lean up against something the right way, I will get outside and find my front windows open in a public parking spot. Not to mention the potential in rain or snow to make major dameage to the interior. Wearing a jacket now in winter, I just keep the iKey in my jacket. But come spring or summer, I will only be able to carry in my pants pocket.

I can't see why this can be disabled via BCM on the 2010 model and not the 2011.

Perhaps try calling 1-800-NISSAN1 to verify that what your dealer said about BCM reprogramming not being possible on your 2011 is correct?
