As in...."roll down them winders".

How difficult is it to replace a window motor? My drivers door is beginning to act up and I may have to get cromag with it. I have not yet looked at the FSM but will next.

The symptoms:

It will occasionally not come back up from the full down position. Push the switch a few times and it works. I suppose that it could also be a switch and or corrosion issue at the switch as well. I did manage to leave the window open a few years ago when the mother nature let loose and arm rest and switches got drenched. However the window is getting a tad slow on the uphill.

And how many of the plastic clips will I break when I remove the door panel? All, or just most?

I found this tool at Advance Auto for pulling door panels.. It lets you get into a tight crack to pry it apart without breaking something..

Noooooo!!! You'll break the trim piece in two prying it from there. Start right above the window switch and get about 8 fingers across the top and gently pull the piece loose.

You won't break any clips pulling off door panels. At worst the "buttons" will come out of their slot in the door panel and you'll have to reinsert them before putting the panel back on.

The window motors are pretty stout and chances are it's the regulator's cables and slide bar that are gummed up. Start with the window rolled down to where the bottom of the window is in the widest part of the door to make it easy to get to the two bolts holding the window in place. When you get the regulator out pull the motor from the middle of the assembly and clean up the regulator's sliding bar and cables. When you're done the sliding mechanism that the window attaches to should move up and down freely.
