Try and seal it up using 3M silicone spray lube. I used it to stop the creaking...but it may work to seal too.

YES!!! It happened to me when my car was like 2 days old. A really loud whistling right up in the moon roof. It went away every time I opened the roof, but as soon as I closed it, it had that high pitch whistle.

It's not the moonroof. I tried and tried to fix it, and on the way to the dealer I found the problem. The right (or any window) was not all the way up. We're talking a fraction of an inch here, so small it was unnoticeable. I had kept hitting the up button on the windows too, but I didn't realize the lock out was on so when I tried to put them up nothing happened and it appeared they were up. Once I raised the passenger window that fraction of an inch, the whistling stopped. (looking at the window you couldn't tell it was down even a fraction of an inch)

I'll bet yours is the same thing.

nope.. it's definitely the moonroof... i'll see if the 3m spray lube works... is there any way to adjust the height of the moonroof ourselves?
