Down here where I live the wind is always blowing and I haven't experienced any real problems except what you would expect for a 2700lb car. I have the Sport package and I don't know if that puts the body closer to the ground or not. I did measure one day and it ranges from 6 to 8 inches all the way around.

I delivered an FJ crusier to Dallas one time and the winds were a little worse than normal and it was really hairy to drive.

Head and tail winds are no problem at all. Strong crosswinds might be a problem... my V was a little squirrely with 4 people in 30-40 mph crosswinds in E. Washington.

Might have to do with its height. My Legacy, which has a larger side profile area but is shorter, has no problems in those same crosswinds (other than the passenger side wiper chatters like hell)

the thing ive noticed most with the dc sports strut bar is that i dont feel that cross winds effect me at all anymore, they use to be terrible on the h/w when a huge side wind just practically blew me off the road. Now the car feels nice and stable.
