I want to get a winch bumper for a '00 Pathfinder, and it seems ARB is the only one that makes an off-the-shelf unit? Who else makes a replacement bumper for the 00-04 R50?

I can get an ARB winch bumper for $1265 out the door from 4WheelParts. Is that my best option? After tax, 4WheelParts is the cheapest place I can find the ARB bumper. Plus, I can do free store pickup at 4WheelParts...

Really depends what you're looking for in a bumper then. Do you want it just for looks, to hit shopping carts, to mount a winch, mount lights, ???

The ARB is VERY nice bumper. I always wondered why it costs $500 more than the other ARBs but it is basically a whole different design. I've got one on mine and I've been saying that I'm going to sell it forever but just haven't gotten rid f it. I really just want to get something lighter since the ARB and a winch weighs over 200 pounds with synthetic rope.

For $1300 you can have a very nice custom bumper made. In fact, that's the exact price a local place called Extreme Engineering quoted me on a custom bumper with a lot of options and they're super expensive. In somewhere like Houston it shouldn't be a problem to find a good shop if you're willing to go that route.

I need a winch and lights, so I guess it's either ARB or custom. If only Shrockworks made a bumper for the R50, I'd be set.

Anyhow, do you have any pics of your Pathfinder with the ARB bumper? I'm having a hard time finding pics of what the exact bumper looks like.

PS, are you still trying to sell your ARB? I'd be glad to take it off your hands. :D

You know that Shrockworks is in Houston, right? Someone talked to them a while ago and Jim said he'd be willing to make one for the Pathfinders, but it would involve someone leaving their Pathfinder at his shop for quite a while so they could design it.

My ARB is NOT in perfect condition. There's some cosmetic blemishes and had to cut a little piece out to fit my winch.

I do stil want to sell it and buy a bender with the money.

Ya, I know they're in Houston - that's why I really wish they made a bumper! Free shipping also. :D

I only asked them if they make a bumper for our truck, not if they'd be willing to use my truck as a guinea pig. I'll email them again.

As for your ARB bumper, what were you trying to get for it? I'm still interested, despite the cosmetic blemishes.

Kennesaw Mtn Accessories makes front bumpers for our cars, CHEEEP (its $480 for just bumper and then you can add crapola) http://www.kenmtnac.com/WinPat9904.html

I think its slightly uglier than the ARB but for 1/3 of the price, its definitely something to consider
