Thats my man!

I honestly am not too surprised. I imagine he owns a few battle axes as well, definitely not the stereotypical millionaire athlete.

 And then go and do this...

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/0 ... ended.html

Summary: Jacobs is a member of some sort of exotics car club that has had assistance from NJ State Troopers escorting them down the Garden State Parkway in excess of 100 MPH. Two NJ Troopers suspended, investigation is ongoing.

So when on I'm on the NJ Parkway and I see a black blur fly by me I should just assume it's Brandon Jacobs???

What would the total costs of something like this go for? Are we still in the sub-Ferrari price tag for a 1000hp GTR?

Only if there is a NJ Trooper leading and trailing said black blur.

Last time I checked, the price of an AMS Alpha package was roughly equal to the price of another R35 GTR.

I think AMS is up to an Alpha 12 package now on the older R35s, with 1200hp... But I want to see what they do with the 2012 and 2013 models. GTR's are rated at 545hp now from the factory...

Chris Christie quoted as saying "Leading a high-speed escort was a dumb thing to do. At those speeds, it would be impossible to react to an emergency, such as the tomato slipping out of your Tripple Whopper with Cheese. Trust me, whatever they put in that mayo...well, we don't know exactly what chemical it is yet, but it's a lively one and it does NOT like polyester."

Wow. Still sub-Ferrari costs with amazing GTR performance... I'm sold.

I have only been able to organize the police chase car not the lead. He couldn't keep up, though.

There are multiple Alpha packages, which one were you talking about? Keep in mind that BJ didn't buy an Alpha 12 GTR, his is listed as an Alpha 9+, no idea what the + means.

The Alpha 9 package is $25K, that's more than enough for almost anything else you'll likely run up against and it's well under under Ferrari pricing, the Alpha 10 is around $65K, that should still cost you less than anything coming out of Maranello. I can't find a price anywhere for the ridiculous Alpha 12, probably have to contact AMS directly.

And if you know where I can get a good R35 for for $25K send me a PM. ;) I love me some MechaGodzilla!

Must be nice to have the kinda money required to have the cops help you break laws.

More power to you Jacobs!
