Hi all, I was wondering if anyone is running willwood calipers on their s14. If so would you mind posting a picture of how it bolts up. I am considering going with Wilwood calipers rather than Z32s and would like a visual as to what I would be getting myself into. Secondly I am curious as to what type of brake line fitting is used to attach the caliper. I have done a bit of searching, but have not found any visual references yet . Thank you in advance.

Ive been on nico for awhile, as well as some other forums, and have never seen pictures or heard about anybody using willwoods on an s14. I wouldn't expect to get any replys. I would call willwood and talk to them about it. For a 350z brake upgrade, check out splparts.com. Z32 brakes are probably the most practical for you. Is this a street car? track car? How much power are you making?

It's a street car hopefully in the future I'll get to have a little fun at the track (auto X looks really fun). Right now it's all stock though in the near future (1 or 2 years) I am planning on turboing it (T3/04e @ approx 10psi daily with a fresh engine from TopHat). Right now though I have no place to do any major work on it. So I'm trying to take care of the ground work before I start adding power; brakes, suspension and the like. (not to mention taking care of all those annoying little things I couldn't afford to when I was a poor a$$ student). Your probably right though I think Z32s are going to be the winner. I was just wondering if anyone had done this before.

I've seen that page before, unfortunately they don't have any good pics of how the calipers attach to the car. I'm sure its not bolt on, but maby I'm wrong. Jegs has Wilwood calipers for a relativly inexpensive price aside from getting the proper disks I want to know how to stick them on my car. It seems if the brake lines and brackets aren't too much then this would be a really cost effective alternative to the 300Z or skyline brake upgrade, plus i think that (the wilwood kit )6 piston calipers will be a little much for my projected horsepower goals.

Yeah, I have the arizonazcar kit up front. It's a mean system, too.

I have an up-close picture of the brakes behind my (dirty) wheels (thanks to random saltings of the roads, it's been a while since I've washed my car).

one

and two (because nismofly says there must be size relevance)

if you want i can take more pictures. just ask!

Thanks again for the pics. I think I'm going to go ahead and order a caliper and see if I can't find a way to attach it. Either attempt to fab up a bracket out of bar stock or find a machine shop to help out. I'll post any success and keep any abject failures to myself.
