Pretty self explanatory title. I have a Z32 and am looking for a clutch pedal to finish my Manual Swap project. Finding it hard to locate Z32 Pedals, but Z31 pedals are everywhere!? Is there much difference? Could a Z31 pedal be made to fit easily in place of the z32 pedal?

Thanks for any help guys.

Not completely sure, but off the top I'd assume it would not work without a lot of modifications due to simple fact they are completely different platforms- not just an updated version of basically the same car.
My advise would be to check the various classified sections of Z sites for part out cars, and BTW I may well have your solution in a few months when I get to tearing down my '90 NA manual-swapped Z32 to be used for my body repairs (nearly brand new pedal and other swap items).
You also can post up your WTB need in our classifieds and possibly get results, and it would be there for me to respond to when I get to my tear-down...

Sweet. Thanks for the advice DCaff. Don't know if I have enough time to wait for yours unfortunately... My daily driver granaded itself and now I need to get the Z on the road so I have something to drive while I work on my daily.

That sucks...and I feel that as my Honda also has indicated it's trans was about done so it got traded in before that happened, and left me in the same boat having to use the TT for work.
Good Luck with everything, in a similar pinch once for parts I found what I needed in California and was able to arrange it all without too much hassle so hopefully you are able to do the same...and of course Z1 or CZP has a replacement new pedal.
Oh, and did you call Z1 about possibly a used one from their parts car collection?

I didn't see pricing from z1 for the used pedals, so I guess I assumed they didn't sell them outside of their kits... I will have to call and ask what they would charge for one with shipping. Thanks Dcaff!

The answer is YES. lol. Spent several days googling pictures and looking up articles, but I managed to find out some new info. Obviously with enough modification you can make any part fit any car, but I wanted to do something that would be basic, and keep from modifying the existing parts if possible. I managed to find out that the s13, s14, and s15 models of 240sx (mid 80s through early 2000s) have clutch pedals that will all fit the Z32. The Z31 pedal will also fit. These pedals all have slightly different curves to the pedal itself, and some have varying height, but the mounting hardware is almost identical! You may have to hone out the holes for your master cylinder bolts to go through, but beyond that you won't need to make any modifications.

As I said before, some of them have a slightly different curve to the actuating arm, or a slightly different style or shape of pedal pad, but this isn't necessarily bad. It gives you the option to have a slightly longer, or shorter, lever based on personal preference, and you can have a slight difference in look and placement based on your wants and needs. I am going to be installing an s13 240sx clutch pedal assembly into my Z32, as a buddy of mine is giving me one for free. I will post pictures and install on my build thread:

Thanks for the posts guys!
