my rear tires are worn to the thread and i had to put other wheels/tires on that i had.. since they are a lil bigger i put them up front. but they are horribly unbalanced because i have one tire with alot more thread than the other. ..

I had them balanced but my front end still shakes really bad around 60-70 mph and when i turn at that speed.

im only going to be running these tires up front for about 2weeks.

My question is will the shaking caused by the unbalanced tires harm or effect my front suspension/car perminantly.

i had a different question in mind when i came into this thread. (Is there any huge need for the wheel weights in order to balance tires?...because i hate them)

so someone can answer that :D

anyways, it depends how bad the shaking is. i wouldn't drive around if you think it's that bad... if you're getting new ones in 2 weeks, it would be wise to get an alignment done, and you can ask the tire guys which ones can be spared and which need to go.

oh, and hell yea Eureka!

thats how they balance your wheel/tire setup. either the hammer on weights, or in the case of aftermarket rims, they will use sticky weights on the inside of the rim.

weights are important. you can almost always ask for stick on weights as opposed to clamp ons. unbalanced wheels will cause shaking, could cause a slight pull and add to bumpsteer. going un balanced will also cause premature tire wear if left too long. if its only a little while, all you gotta worry about is the vibration.
