will theheads off of a ka24de work on a ka24e sohc block and what is necessary to complete this conversion if at all possible besides wiring and a timing chain kit?

yeah, thats possible. it gives you high compression so you will need premium gas all the time. i think you end up with over 11:1 compression with sohc pistons and dohc head. try doing a search as i know many 240 folks have done it and i know of one guy in a stanza that is trying to work it out.
