If I put a set of eibach springs on my versa will this void any warranties on the car? I'm wanting to lower it but I don't want to void the warranty just yet.

they can only void your warranty if they can prove that the aftermarket part caused something to fail....

Like when you shocks will probably blow eventually (who knows when), then they can blame the springs. Or anything suspension related really.

Not exactly. If a part fails FROM either normal wear and tear or abuse, it's not covered... but you CAN get some of these parts replaced under warranty.

If you drive normally, don't do any racing, don't lower your car, and your strut blows out in 5k miles, then that WOULD be covered under warranty, as struts are generally designed to go 50k+ miles. Same thing goes with brake rotors. If you have a rotor warp after only a few thousand miles, you can get them replaced, since they're supposed to go (depending on design) 30k, 60k, even 90k miles.

If it's clearly that the part broke prematurely because it was defective, yes.
