it might not be worth it. with an a/r on the turbine of .5 and compressor of .63?

it wouldn't be cost effective.

get an s14 t28 - the SR20store has them for 375.and it fits your stock manifold. up to 350 hp.

Can I just get an adapter for the manifold?

there are no adapters because its not a good way to build a turbo setup.

the air wont flow straight and smooth into the turbo beacuse the pipes have varying witdhs, and so you build turbulance and the turbo doesnt flow well

each additional seem creates opportunities for a boost leak. adapters are a bad choice under that much pressure.

there are manifolds that will fit a t4. but its not a good turbo. its tiny.

how much is he selling it for. and is it a GARRET?

Like other members are saying, you will need a new manifold but also Injectors and MAFS to make it run correctly and safer. The turbo itself wont be the only thing to worry about:Intercooler Piping to the Outlet Z32 MAFS (Mass Air Flow Sensor/meter)450-550cc injectors (S15 OEM injectors, SARD, DSM, etc)and a tune (be it SAFC or ROM: Rom would be better and more hp gain)

good luck regardlessId get a second opinion from a reputable shop in your area.

the S14 T28 does - the r34 t28 doesnt

disco potatoes are a good score. and garrett the gt2871r .64 is the absolute best.

try and find one thats mildly used and its still a baggin deal.

and of course you'll need a z32 MAF sensor from a 300zx 65$ - 125$550cc injectors 200$ - 350$the turbo 350$ - 1000$and possibly Cams 300$-400$then a ROM tune and they vary also.

then you have a monster. 300 - 350hp. get good coilovers and do all the little suspension tweaks!! and you have arrived.

codyace has a brilliant thread that will show you how to build a 400hp sr s14

thanks

im running the stock t25, but this setup works as your friends know.

with a good rom tune you can keep the smooth idle and not burn gas wastefully when cruising.

Im running a T3 50/63 on my SR.

Stock engine and fuel at psi and runs fine. Still has the SR maf.

It still runs a little rich and my last compression test was 150 on all 4 cyl's. It should be at 250+ whp.

My advice if its cheap and has no shaft play go for it.

If it was a 2871r I would be outside right now doing donuts and drifting fiendishly...

at 2:30 in the morning

its a steel wheel t28 from a r34 skyline. it will get you to 300-320 hp. great turbo, its yours if you want it

315 shipped.

I could use the $ for more important things - but i still like it.
