I found a muffler that I would like to buy but I am afraid it will not fit the Versa dimensions, since the Versa is extremely hard to find a muffler for due to the body style and rear bumper.

So will this fit?

My instincts say yes...

Easiest way to find out would be to go to a muffler shop that sells Flowmaster then let them check for a proper fitment. They might even have it in stock and would make for a one stop shop, with no wait time..

By the way what makes you want to use the Flowmaster Muffler?

A shop can make any muffler fit. If the out put pipe of the muffler is to big they can weld on a small pipe to fit around the exhaust and the muffler.

yes and no...

I orignally bought a big rice burner muffler and they could not put it on 1. because the inlet/outlet hole was too big, and 2. because the back body of the versa has a metal shield before the bumper, which a muffler could burn a hole in. This flowmaster is smaller and should be ok, I just hope it can fit the dimentions correctly. It has a 2 1/4 inlet/outlet, its 19 inches in legth...which is hopefully ok...

I picked flowmaster because its a reliable brand and will have a reliable sound. I dont care if i have a 4 cylindar.

*edit* and can someone please tell me what the inlet/outlet diameter is for the stock muffler on the Versa?

The muffler you linked to has 2 1/2 in/out not 2 1/4.

If you are buying a muffler, then go ahead and pay a shop to put in 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 in pipe from the cat back. Then you choose which inlet/outlet you want that way.

i would do like the other guys are saying. go to a muffler shop and see what they've got in stock & c if it'll fit. and it will sound good contrary to what other ppl are saying. my buddy has a mitsu mighty max w/a 4g63 swap in it with a flowmaster 50 series muffler on it and it sounds good. its not raspy its got a semi deep tone. only con is that backfires sound really loud w/this combo.

Well thanks everyone!!! IT DOESNT FIT. So finally, I am getting something I KNOW 100% that it fits.

This WILL fit:

Also...the inlet needs to be less than 2 inches. I have finally learned my lesson.
