so my clutch is pretty much gone can barely push in the gas w/o it just reving so after some searching i found a Stage 2 clutch on ebay by a brand named XTD. it cost 280 with 20 shipping.

i guess my question is, is it probably low quality? will it last? is it worth the price?

If you ever consider starting a thread about "will this last", wouldn't that tell you RIGHT THERE that you are not buying a quality part.

When you pay **** you get ****.

Did you get hurt at all??

Spinning at 7000+ RPM and weighing like 10 lb is enough to talk a limb off since the transmission tunnel is like 1/16 steel...

once again, Ebays not to blame, its crappy sellers and cheap parts. You get what you pay for. You can also find ACT clutches on Ebay and they are the real deal.

It was actually my friends car. Piece of the bellhousing went threw the winshield of the car behind him. He was unharmed and I think he said the lady had cuts on her face from the glass. She said she was sueing but refused to go to the hospital when the cops came. Not a good situation at all...

xtd sucks. didderson had their clutch and it felt like s*** . that was on the ka though. the sr has a much better clutch now

i think its a little unfair to say not to trust ebay. last time i checked ebay isnt the company that makes those

I wouldnt say don't trust Ebay...

I would say Don't trust Name brands you have NEVER heard of..If you know the name brand, and can get a BETTER deal on it on Ebay than go for it, their is ALOT of good car stuff to be had on Ebay if you look around and research etc.

I've had mine mated to my JUN flywheel and it is still going strong after 6 years! maybe just a bit more expensive than the XTD crap. Great solid engagement every time, i just tend to burn through tires every 8 months, Hehe...
