the exhaust manis are swapable but if you fit an S14 mani to an S13 it wont bolt to the stock downpipe as the S14 is 1 big tube while the S13 has 2 tubes.(this is all stock stuff)

so you can't get an S14 mani to put on an S13 or viceversa(sp?).

Are you talking about after market manifolds or stock?

I think S14's have another o2 sensor bung on the header that you need to plug if you are using it on an s13, too.

yea i understand that the s14 manifold wont bolt to the s13 dp but i was planning on using the s14 mani and dp to bolt to that cat.

i was told that this would work as long as the egr and extra 02 bungs were blocked off (the egr because it is in a different location). is that correct?

the reason that i am going to all the trouble is because a previous owner hacked off the cat in front of the flange and welded in a test pipe. Thus i have no where to bolt my new exhaust to. and i cant find an s13 downpipe for sale.

so i am trying to see if the STOCK S14 manifold and dp will fit on and S13 and still bolt up to the cat correctly and in the stock location.

Yes, a complete S14 mani/DP will bolt up just fine.

And the S14 DP has the primary cat already in it, so you'll have 2 if you add another...FYI.

is there any way to eliminate it or punch it out w/o having to cut apart the dp?
