yes!!! I did this too! it looks way better. it really looks like it should have always been there. but i got mine form a nissan parts depo (i had a 25% off parts discount, so they ordered me one). Idk if you saw this thread, but this is where i got the inspiration from

i got inspired... and finally got around to ordering one as well. next step would probably be to dissect the OEM one to see if i can change out the LEDs and if that's successful, i think i'll change out the LEDs on this GTR one.

I still have mine from my Altima, and waiting to install in my Z. Difference is with the Altima you pop that chrome ring out and it takes all of 5 mins (10 if you're extremely careful about knicking that soft touch paint on the dash like I was). In the Z, you have to take the whole frigging dash apart. I'm waiting until I do all my other electronics before I do all that.

I have had my Z for a year already and still haven't done it. lol.

I have it installed on my coupe and used the old one as a push button start on my zero turn!
