Hey everyone,

I was wondering if this Bose Head Unit will fit my 1994 Q45.

I believe it will physically fit, but you will probably need an adaptor for the wiring. Nissan/Infiniti changed the plug style sometime between 1994 and 1997.

It will fit......

You'll need a Female Wireharness for an older nissan, with a male "reverse" harness for a newer nissan.

both found at best buy or wherever audio is sold.

Thanks everyone. Now I just have to win the bid. I really need a working CD and Tape deck. I am going to try and see if the changer in can be used for and ipod or external MP3 player.

There is an aftermarket dpiece that uses the CD changer input for "Aux IN"

Such as this.http://www.crutchfield.com/S-V...eview

Rex,

Do you know if the ipod connector will work? I really want to buy one and hide my ipod in the center console if I could. Just recieved my the head unit and order the adapter. Thanks

VERY slick - Mount your iPod in the trunk, and you're set! Control it from your dashboard radio, no FM modulator required, and it even has a spare audio input connector.

I wonder if this adaptor and the iPod would both fit inside the compartment normally reserved for the CD changer...

Haven't tried it, but have seen others make their own RCA level adapter. I think I even have a wiring schematic somwhere if you've got some soldering skills.

There's plenty of space behind the HU int he dash for the wiring, and I'd prefer having the iPod in the center console ... especially if it was a video iPod .
