I really like how this exhaust sounds.... it looks to be the exact same dimensions as the stock exhaust ... even though its made for the v6 model

I think it might, similar to the Tanabe. They're both designed for the 3.5, and may require a slight modification to fit.

I would recommend professional installation to ensure direct fitment. The installer can add any small pieces of piping to make it work.

IIRC - the big difference in the 2.5 and 3.5 exhausts is the catback piping is shorter on the 2.5. This could throw off the placement of a catback, but I don't think this will be an issue as much due to the Borla being axle-back.

Do so at your own risk! haha. But seriously it should be fine.

I have a totally different experience with the Greddy exhaust as far as sound, but I also drove a V6 when I had my Spectrum Elite. Unless you've heard the Borla on a 2.5, you're probably going to hear something different from what you've seen/heard via YouTube, as Borla demos the exhaust on a 3.5.

LOL what?!

Greddy sounds the best hands down on both platforms 2.5 and 3.5

Borla isn't even a full exhaust, it's an axle-back. Yes, it sounds nice on the 3.5s but like Xenon said don't expect it to sound the same on a 2.5

I have yet to hear the Borla on a 2.5, but I had it on my 3.5 and it was pretty good. I have it for sale for $350 +shipping, in perfect condition if you want it. ;) Holla atcho boi. It's listed in the classifieds, just do a quick search for pics.

Have you heard a GReddy exhaust in person?? It's hands down the best sounding exhaust. I had the full catback GReddy RS exhaust on my 2.5 coupe and it sounded beastier than another member's v6 (downedzephyr). I no longer have my coupe, so the exhaust is for sale, but I got many many compliments.
