Will this exhaust fit my 2.5 Altima ?

Hey everyone,

I've come up on this great deal for a rear axle back exhaust it is coming off of a 3.5 Atlima

I'm damn near getting it for free and my question is if it will bolt up to my standard 2.5

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think it will bolt up I feel that this question has been asked and has not got a clear cut answer. Yes it is just an axle back and yes the 2.5 and 3.5 are basically the same but I believe the 3.5 is a tiny bit longer and the exhausts that fit both will often have a piece to use with the 3.5 to make it an inch or two longer to fit. Now that being said if you are getting it for that much of a steal you could just take it to an exhaust shop and have them cut and weld everything together to make it fit for not very much.

What exhaust is it?

He only paid $170 for it.

its actually just the muffler part not the whole exhaust system.

He's no longer keeping his 3.5 so he said F it and he'll give it to me, i didnt wanna take it if it doesnt fit because then it'll just sit in my garage forever and collect dust lol

Well this is funny because I actually just purchased basically this exhaust on eBay for a little cheaper and I can tell you that this is not going to bolt up to your car at all. It will need custom piping bent and welded to fit I knew this when I bought it though so if you are not going to do that then I would stay away.

I don't have a problem taking To a muffler shop to get custom fitted,
How do you like it?

I'm happy with it for it being 140 it is a little quite for me with the 2.5 having the big resonator but its a big improvement from stock. I will be replacing the resonator eventually.

I love the fact that its a burnt tip look to it.
