Hey gang, Despite my experience in other areas, I'm still a fitment and wheel and tire noob..

I'm looking for some advice on fitment. I don't have the car here, and I don't have tires mounted on rims, so I can't really test fit to get an answer at this point.

I'm wondering if this stuff will fit and work or not..

Car: 1998 240sx SEWheels: GramLights 57c. 4 18x9.5 +22 and/or 2 18x 8.5 +30 Tires: Toyo Proxes 245/45 18

I'm sure this combination is less than ideal, but since I already own all of these things, it will cost only a little bit to mount the tires on wheels... I can't afford to go out and spend a bunch of money on proper tires right now.

So, If I put 245/45 18 tires on 18x9.5 +22 wheels... would they fit on all 4 corners of a S14?Or, I could put the 18x8.5 wheels on the fronts and try to find a pair of tires to fit them.

What would handling be like if I ran the same 245/45 18 tires on 18x9.5 rears and 18 x 8.5 fronts?

Thanks for fielding the questions folks!

that side wall is a little big for a 18" wheel. but hey, if thats what you have. you pretty much gotta rock it!

the widths are fine, the fronts will be barely stretched at all and the fronts will be right about square.

So if I go 18 x 9.5 with a 245/45 tire on a S14 with stock suspension- will I have to roll or pull the front fenders? Or will they fit ok? I'm assuming if the 9.5 wide wheel will fit in the front, then the 8.5 will certainly fit.

Thanks
