Ok, first off I have searched alot without much success so... I have a 1990 240sx hatchback and next week I am picking up a rear subframe from a 1989 ca18det powered 180sx (japanese spec) with a lsd. I know the final drive is 4.36 on this rear end. I want to know if this will bolt up directly to my car. Both use 6 bolt out put shafts/axles. I do not know if it is a r180 or a r200 like mine. What do you guys think? thanks for the help in advance.

Same chassis (S13), same subframe...despite what country it came from.

Use the whole subframe, use just the diff/axles (I'll bet it 5-bolt...every 4.36 diff I've seen has been 5-bolt).

No 240SX/Silvia came with an R180, so you're in the clear there...

ok so it has to be an r200. cool. The guy im buying it from says it has 6 bolt axles, maybe hes wrong? either way i could keep my axles or just use the ones off the subframe i suppose.
