I want to confirm that this item will work on my s13 94-96 sr20det blacktop engine before I buy it. It is a Apexi FC with item # 414-N003. The problem is I have searced for this item # and cannot find it anywhere. The ones I have found either have item # 414-N014 or # 414-N015. So what I am thinking is that maybe this might be an older model? Any info would be greatley appreciated.

The difference between the two will be the O2 sensor you end up using. The middle models use the fatty. The earlier blacktops use the skinny.

UNLESS you have a J4 ECU in which case not only will you neet the fatty O2 but you will need to repin your harness (unless you got the right power FC).

So if I use the "fatty" O2 sensor I would be able to use this unit? I dont't know much about this sort of thing so if you could please elaborate on what would be involved I would greatly appreciate it.

You'll need to change your O2 to a "skinny type" for it to work. Harness doesn't neet to be repinned.

^You can see the differences from that link.

I believe it's the same sensor off a z31 non turbo. The parts thread only lists turbo model 02's which are the "fat type". Maybe search around or start a thread asking which o2 sensor is interchangeable with the redtop (skinny type) o2 sensor.
