Does anyone know if these will work without any modifications on the 93TT.

Helo Chrome 18" wheels

Sumitomo HTR Z III 235/40R -18 95Y

I have no clue when it comes to wheels/tires that would work on this car.
I need new tires and the rims look kinda old and know someone who is selling these.

There is not nearly enough info here for anyone to tell you if they will work, 235s will fit under a Z32 with the proper wheels, its the wheels that you need to make sure will fit, and for that you need to do some research, it's been covered plenty of times.

Yes, I've read until my eyes are bleeding and I realized after I posted this that I should have offered more information but don't have any since I know nothing about wheels and tires.

I thought posting might lead to my being asked questions which I could respond to, giving what ever info was needed and my learning at the same time.

Anyhow, I decided against them but thank you for the response.

Here good resources to get you started, understanding wheel specs isn't as easy as it would first appear to be so don't think That I am ribbing you for it specifically but there is a lot of info on the web and finding the right info is sometimes difficult.

As I said, I've read tons of stuff and thought it was time to ask. Sometimes, some interactivity clears up what 3 pages of text might be trying to explain.

Anyhow, I'm not buying those wheels and sticking to the factory wheels. Maybe I'll have them powder coated or something :).

Three things I myself do when it comes to wheels, as I am like you, rightfoot, in that I am not too savvy on figuring wheel fitment myself.
1. Realize that the recommended sizes are there for a reason, and that anything different will require that I KNOW I can make them work (spacers, suspension upgrade/adjustment, etc). In most cases, moving away from the sizes in the wheel fitment chart in our "Everything" sticky means changes will need to be made to wheel spacing/fenders, suspension, or both.
2. Find and save on my computer any and all useful wheel fitment info. I have the wheel fitment chart from the "everything....Z32" sticky, the Tire Rack fitment calculator in bookmarks, and a few other such items such as the chart Ace posted.
3. Realize that finding used wheels for sale that will fit correctly and look right on a Z32 is not likely to happen, as the Z32 is VERY limited in sizing while many/most cars are not so limited and which skews the pool, so to speak. The only wheels I have bought came off a Z32 so I knew the fitment and look before the sale, the ONLY way I'd buy used wheels (coming off a Z32) or at worst, from another Nissan as they usually have a fairly similar fitment pattern for the Z33 and 370Z. You WILL want to make sure in this case with measurements of the inner and outer spacing just to be sure it is the same or close enough to stock if using stock suspension, a little less so with coilovers and adjustable suspension.
Hope this helps you in the future.

Thanks DCaff300ZX.

Yes, I typically stick to either exact replacement, known performance upgrade/replacement and what folks in the forums say work. That's why I posted here since there was no way for me to know all those things even after reading for a long time so thought I would ask here.

Yes, I'm sticking to the factory wheels :).

Thanks again for all the useful input.
