Hi Folks,

I'm hoping some help can be found here. Regardless of the outcome I'll have to bust off the wheelnuts anyways(wheel locks on the wheels with no key... GRRR! ) but I'm wondering if someone might know if I can do this or not.

Specs:'89 240SXJDM Tein HA’s 10kg/mm, 16-way dampening adjust, upper camber platesS14 front and rear 5-lug conversion (hubs and spindles)Z32 (300zx twin turbo) front brake conversion (4 piston calipers)17x9 +5 (with 30mm spacer) Bronze 5Zigen FN01R-C’s w/ 215/40/17

The original owner had all that stuff put on but because of the spacer, the wheel/tire sticks out a little past the fender and I want to suck it back in. Does anyone know if I can remove the 30mm spacer and the wheel will clear the caliper as well as not rub on the suspension/fender liner/etc?

hey Rikter, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine without the spacers. As long as you have open ended wheel studs. I would rip your fender liners out, and tuck your engine harness up in the fender. Jack your car up, and give it to try atleast you'll get to spend a moment with your pretty car.

I am running pretty much the exact same setup except my coils are the HR's.A +15 offset is about perfect on a 17x9 with a 235/40 tire. I am running 1 1/4" of fender gap front and rear, just a touch of negative camber and still have my fender liners installed.Find you a 20mm spacer and you will be good.

Thanks guys!

I don't mind putting a different spacer on, just as long as the tire/wheel goes back under the fender i'm happy
