Hey, I am going to look at a set of rims this weekend and would like to know before hand how they would look on an S14.

He described them as gunmetal rims, I didnt get an actual brand or anything. Here's the specs on themSize: 17" x 7" Bolt Pattern: 4 on 100, and 4 on 4.5(114.3) Offset: +42mm Weight: 21 lbs/wheel

would they be tucked under the fenders pretty far or not? They also come with tires, I feel it's a decent deal, as long as they wont look stupid on my car.

I'm pretty sure those will look stupid with that +42 offset. Also do they come with rubberband tires? I'm sure if you looked a little harder you can find something that fit a little better.

You're obviously not buying them for performance, since they're 7J.

You're obviously not buying them for looks either, since they will be horribly sunken.

So what exactly are you buying them for?

You've been on here 2 years and dont know what would sit flush?

Rule of thumb that works 95% the time, You want as close to 0 for the offset as possible

That'll look like You want at least 8" wide in the front and at least 9" wide in the back for S14's. Find something with an offset of +25 or lower too.

I dont follow the wheel threads much, and am not on much. But anyways, that's why I asked before buying, I knew close to 0 is the best way to go. I just wanted to make sure so I didnt waste my day looking at wheels that wont fit proper. I'm gonna go to some auto recyclers tomorrow, see if they have a few sets of wheels kicking around, some of them usually do.

Happy...? Ya Jerks

Its best for you to do some reasearch on WHEEL fitment....check the wheel/tire guide here on Nico, there are alot of pics and a description of the wheel.

For starters...here's a pix of 17x8 +25 offset in the front and 17x9 +35 in the rear...with this size there was no need for any roll to the fenders.

theres a sticky up top that has a bunch of different wheel inputs from different users. You should use that as a reference.
