DO NOT BUY THOSE WHEELS IN THOSE SIZES!!!!

30mm and 40mm offsets are way too high on a S chassis. go with a 9 in the front +17ish and 10 in the rear with +20-25ish. that will look really sharp!

offsets homie... offsets...

although, I'm not too familiar with s14 offsets, I can tell you straight out that those offsets given are gonna be sunken in.
stickiez up top joo n00b! wrote:The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types.

Zero OffsetThe hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel.

PositiveThe hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars.

NegativeThe hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.

If the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be adversely affected. When the width of the wheel changes, the offset also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you added width, the additional width would be split evenly between the inside and outside. For most cars, this won't work correctly. We have test fitted thousands of different vehicles for proper fitment. Our extensive database allows our sales staff to offer you the perfect fit for your vehicle
I'd guess the offset your better off with is 8" width with a +0 offset or 9" width with a +10 offset or something along those lines...bottom line... lower offset for you car is what you want. none of that +40 crap

Go to the Wheel FAQ and read some terminology, that will get you started. The offset number (+43) is how much the wheel is sunken or how far it sticks out. The higher the +number the more sunken in the wheel well the wheel will look. The stock offset is +40, so a +43 offset will be more sunken than stock (by roughly 3 mm given the same wheel width, if the wheel width is different that effects things too; wider wheel with same offset will stick out more than stock)

If you want to bring the wheel out to give your car a wider stance then you want to have a lower offset. Mine for example are +08 in the rear +25 in the front. Both stick out farther than the body fender.

I like the look. Some like to tuck their wheels, some like them to stick out. Look at some pics and decide what you like. If you have any questions.

Damn, adrian beat me to it.

warmer... that size would be more flush... but obviously, if you put overfenders on, its not gonna be as flush...I'd go with that size and ditch the overfender idea... over fenders are for baller sizes

Depends on what you are going to do with the over fenders. remember they will cause the wheels to sink in by 5 cm or 2 1/4 inches. So if it just sticks out on the stock body then it will look sunken withthe overfenders on.

Is it just the rear that will have wider fenders? Are you positive you want a wider body?

why are you always criticizing people?for your information I plan on building a street/time attack car.just cause people don't do the same things you do like forcing a set of 17 in. tires onto a set of dubs don't mean you gotta hate....lets just face it this way, its not your car you dont have to like it. im not trying to be mean but its my car and if i wanted to i can turn it into a dualie but like i said no disrespect to you tho you give good advice but your like Simon from American Idol (and thats not a good thing).

Over fenders are unecessary in my opinion.

The offsets you want to run are...

Wheel Size X 9" + 15/20 up front

Wheel Size x10" +15/12 out back

Enduro Motorsports had some of the cheapest prices for Volks last time I checked. Don't know if they have them in the size you're looking for but they do have a sizing chart on there so you can look for it on there...

...and for the love of God dude, SEARCH. You might as well kick the creators of search engines in the nuts because you're not utilizing them to their fullest potential. Google Volks, Volk GT-C, etc. It's not that hard.
