will these rims fit

the rims im looking to buy are 16x7 +40 offset and i want 215/50/16 tires..is that right? I dont know much about tires and wheels..and will there be any rubbing with 215 tires? could i go as high as 225?

You should be good to go with that setup. 225 would be too wide and would be very tight. Stick with the 215;)
