but they'll work right? that's all i care about. if i need spacers to get it to sit nice, it's nothing that hasn't been done. i was hoping u would chime in. it seems like u have experience with offsets and this type of crap. i'm going to use q45 front brakes and a 5 lug swap. that's probably irrelevent. but, i was thinking of 225's on the 9's and something like 255's on the 10.5's. i want to run a stretched tire(more so in the rear) but i want the rim to still be off the ground. the rear taller than the front. what sizes do u think would be good. also what spacers would i need to get the wheel/tire combo close to the (rolled not pulled) fender. i don't want to pull. i like the "omg it's so close to the fender" look. thanks.

run a 225-40 on the front, 235-40 on the rear

depending on your wheels, you might need a 3mm spacer behind the bolt on spacer. but if your whels have hte etra holes for spacer studs to go through, then you will be fine

you will be fine, you ionly need extended lugs when you use sandwich spacers

I dont believe it. I'll agree with Greg, you do a nice job helping us out in the Wheels/Suspension forum. You definately know more about crazy sized wheels than me, but I also try to help out as much as possible.

Yeah, there are differant types of spacers. The sandwhich type spacers simply goes between the wheel and the hub, still retaining the stock lugs. These should only be used for 3 or 5mm applications, as they reduce the amount the lug nut can be tightened.

The kind you want are bolt-on hubcentric spacers. These bolt on to the factory lugs, but have differant lugs attatched that the wheel bolts on to. The best brand, from common concensus, seems to be H&R.

i just took my new 4 lug rotors to to be 5 holed. and my q45's to be drilled for 4. about 90 bucks. but f. it. i'd rather them be right than to pay less and then have to buy new ones. next is the 5 lug swap and wheels.
