I think it is sorely needed.
With the current overlanding craze such a trim would be an assured seller.

Also it will be easy/affordable for Nissan to create that trim:

Simply take the PRO4X wheels off the Titan PRO4X (a simple bolt on as they fit), put on upgraded shocks (no design changes here either, but a simple bolt on), add skidplates (a la titan PRO4X, a bolt on), a rear locker (pre exist for this platform in the Nissan parts bin for the worldmarket versions of this platform) and deliver it with AT instead of hiway tires.
Add badges.
Charge an extra $3000.

Watch the sales. :yesnod

I personally think this is a major missed opportunity so far from Nissan. We need a Pro4X Armada.

But then I might want one for no good reason. Haha

I do not understand the Nissan product planners.
Do they not live in the market?

it would cost Nissan near near nothing to "develop" a PRO4X trim as all those parts already exist in-house.
And they could charge a premium for it.
They were not afraid to make the SL available with the midnight package which I though was both economically clever and made the vehicle more desirable.
