will the spark plugs and spark plug wires of a KA24de fit on the SR20det engine?

I don't know if anyone has asked this question and this is my first time using NICO Forum, so i would really appreciate some answers, by the way, does anyone know if the headers of a KA24de would bolt onto the SR20det?

I'm just trying to learn more about topics like this before I decide if I want to do an engine swap. Thanks

Wow you serioulsy need to do some searching man I mean the sr doesn't even have spark plug wires. And it's turbo and you wanna bolt a ka header on to it?????

but for the spark plugs idk the gap is probably different specs. Just buy new ones for the sr if you were to do it

Yeah, I'm not sure but I wouldn't run ka plugs in the sr they are probably different. The sr takes ngk bkr6e or bkr7e and some people including me run iradiums

yeah but i see iridium spark plugs for the ka24 all the time. I know it's not a lot of money but just wanted to know it they would fit. Thanks for the info though

I don't know if you answer this but, cause i'm still familarizing myself to cars in general but why did you ask, "u want to run a KA header on a SR with turbo?". I seen some videos but never fully understood the concept of turbo charging engines. Can u only use turbo headers? haha sorry if this seems to basic. i guess i'm looking for a break down.

http://www.howstuffworks.com make it your new best friend.

It's called an exhaust or a turbo manifold on a turbo car there is no such thing as a "header" on a turbo car

Spark plugs cost like 15 bucks...if you can't swing that don't even consider a SR

the reason you dont find the answers, is that you are asking questions that shouldnt be asked.

when swapping a motor, you shouldnt be worrying about interchangeability of items you are REMOVING...

i understand you are new. thats fine. congrats.

an engine swap is not for you. modding is not for you. not for a LONG time and many many hours of reading.

I have to disagree. When I first got my car I knew nothing of modding, engine swaping, or anything at all. Since then I have spent a LONG time and many hours reading on anything that I didn't know. Know I don't claim to know it all but I know alot more than when I first started out. Why are we discouraging him? we were all there at one point or another and we should be helping him. Now I agree that spoon feeding people answers to questions that are really basic is not the way to go, but let's point them in the right direction.
