i just finished my sr swap and i have a question about the battery. The intercooler piping was in the way so i couldnt fit the regular batttery in. I got one thats a little more than 1/2 of the size of the old to make it fit. The car starts up fine but i am worried that there might be problems later on. Will the size of the battery cause problems to my car in the future?thanx in advance for the help!

No.

I have an SVR, and I know people who use Odyssey PC680's which are TINY.

Battery size doesnt matter as long as it still has the correct amount of cranking amps and for that matter cold cranking amps since fall/winter is upon us.

Yep, put it in the trunk! All you need is a battery box and some wire...

lol, I have a frikin $20 Wal-Mart lawn & garden battery in my car that has a picture of a damned riding lawnmower on it. :D SO far I have had it for about 4 months and have had exactly zero problems with it. Just make sure you get a battery that has an absolute minimum of 300 cold cranking amps and you will be golden...

Hey keyy just remember it doesn't normally take much to crank these 4 bangers up and especially during the summer but its about to get cooler in Texas and come november when we normally have some really cold weather that 300 cold crank battery your using will proly kick the bucket..........some cold, sleeting, drizzley morning......it'll suck.:)

hmmm I dunno, well see. Mine doesn't crank over but once or twice then it catches like a charm. If all else fails, I will carry around a spare battery :)
