Well I found a set of 10.5 to 1 CR compression pistons for 369 plus rings at http://www.raceeng.com

I'm either going to rebuild my ka24e or replace it with a low mileage salvage special.

I can get most of the machine work done for free. If I can do a rebuild with forged pistons. I'll probably rebuild I just don't want this to be to wild.

keep in mind you need to run premium gas or better. on straight 92 pump i can run 12-13 btdc and not ping, and i climb steep grades. stock ecu works ok, with the proper fuel (96+octane) otherwise you have to retard timing and it will run rich with less power and worse gas mileage. also if you buy the pistons be sure to measure the actual compression height and compare to stock. you will want a block and head that have never been shaved/milled.

imho: 369 plus the rings is to much for high compression pistons. be sure that they are for ka24e not de, probably listed in the pricelist i dont have adobe right now

oh you just drove the last nail into the coffin. You see my problem is I have a hardbody a 96. I don't think the timing is adjustable. My distributer is turned all the way to the advance stop. The computer adjust the timing. Thats why I questioned the computers ability to deal with this compression.

thanks
