LIES !

Lol a three inch exhaust is most likely going to have a 3 inch 2 bolt flange on it that will NOT bolt up to a stock cat.

you could take it to a muffler shop or whatever and have them do it.

I mean if your going to get a 3 inch exhaust i really hope you want to go turbo sometime in the future. If not, the 3 inch exhaust is going to be really loud and obnoxious.. You might dismiss this but i promise you after a few months its going to get realll old. You would be better off with a 2.5 exhaust if your going N/A. You will still see the same power gains, and it will sound a lot nicer.

Also, if your staying N/A you should pick up an equal length exhaust header, high flow cat, and the exhaust. Kinda pointless to have a nice exhaust system with a stock header IMO.

yeah i thought a while and i could jsut have a muffler shop special. like 2.5" from cat all the way to the back , with resonator of course, and have it split into two 2.5" tips at teh back like this , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTVVvVu2Z-o

I was looking into getting a BRM for the car when the gas leak problem is fixed.

For the 2.5 inch setup, does the whole setup(cat, muffler, flanges) bolt on (any welding) or do i need to change the headers? or anything ? Currently it is full stock.

Thanks for input.

are you going cat back..or getting the header aswell..if ya add a header into the mix..there is a possiblility of it rubbing on the steering knuckles..seems to allways be an issue..anyways..hope this helped.

the catback will fit your stock cat flange, hush to whoever said it wouldn't fit

you don't have to buy all 3" exhaust components at once, start at one end and work your way through

well, my cat has a two bolt set up on both ends. and if the 3" pipe has the two then i belive it would work. also when you go w/ a 3" you will lose some back-pressure and i promise you that its a good thing in moderation...id go w/ the 2 1/2. But, if you are go w/ a turbo then you can almost never go too big w/ pipe size, the turbo will give you the back pressure you need. btw i have 2 1/2" exhaust and my car sounds like a beast, flows good too

All depends on the catback you buy. Like i said, it most likely will not fit. I know the exhaust system i bought would def not bolt up to the stock downpipe.

the downpipe?? catback...starts from catalytic converter...unless i missed something and he said he's running non-stock?
