I need to take my driver seat out for two weeks while the upholster repairs the arm rest and seat bottom. There is a 94 model at my local Pick And Pull that might have a donor sear. I would like install a used seat to continue driving the car while the seat is being repaired. Will a seat from a 94 model work in my 91?

My assumption is that it will bolt on, but not be electrically compatible. The fun is getting the darn thing out of a car with no battery... I guess you could take your own?

It isn't exactly a direct swap if your going to use the seat track also. The right track of the 94-96 driver seat and the left track of the passenger seat is slightly different where it mounts in the rear. Also the connectors are different. I had to end up swapping out the right track on a 95 driver seat that I swapped into my 90 and the left track on the passenger seat. It would have probably been a lot easier just to swap the bottom assembly instead of just part of it. I also had to swap the seat module from the 90 seat to the 95 so that I could use most of the seat controls( minus the lumbar support and power head rests.).

Thank you guys for the detailed information. There is a 94 at the local Pick-and_Pull where I may get a seat. I just need something to drive it around for a couple of weeks while the upholster works on the seat repair. I'll try again to get it turned around without having to buy a seat to use for a couple of weeks.
