will stock rb downpipe work in s13?

i have an s13 with an rb20 and right now i have no exhaust and i found a stock downpipe cheap but will it work with the s13 chassis?ive heard it will fit and ive also heard it will hit the steering column..

yes, stock AND aftermarket rb20 downpipes work just fine on s13's and bolt right up to stock exhaust. the downpipe itself isnt what hits the steering column, its the turbo outlet but it usually will just wear itself a little groove in a few days and you wont ever have to worry about it again.

if you wanna skip the stocker and jump straight into a 3" downpipe i have one sitting across the room from me i'll let go for $100 plus shipping. lmk

damn, a 3 inch downpipe that cheap is worth it. plus it would give zak some cash to get his project on the road.
