not to burst your bubble, but just the fact that its a 12 year old car with 32k miles on it sends of some alarm signals.
Thats an average of 2.7k miles a year. You could put more miles on a car driving it around a parking lot .
On the other hand, anyone who is trying to roll back the odometer to sell the car would probably not have chosen such an unrealistic number for a 12 year old car. Which makes me think it could actually be legit.
For the sake of argument, let's say the mileage is legit, if you're getting it for only 1.5k, then there has to be something TERRIBLY wrong with the car.
Just use some common sense when you look at the car. At 32k, even for a 12year old car, the thing should be IMMACULATE. Especially the interior.... it should be showroom fresh. If you look at it and it doesn't strike you as a showroom quality car, it's probably a lie. Even after 12 years, a car with only 32k miles on it should still keep well and should look and drive like new.
