i just bought a set of JIC coilovers on ebay and was wondering if slamming my car too much would screw up how they handled?

theyre adjustable at the spring perch, not the shock body.

i think theyre the SA-1s.

what say you?

Fact: slamming the car will not help handling.

Opinion: slamming the car will not help appearance.

post pics when you get them, ive always had a soft spot for jic.

OK grip racer, you should know that suspension travel is actually OK and quite good for road going cars.

Low cars look good, too low is silly, too high is silly also.

The threaded shock body allows you to put the car dangerously low. Use coilovers wisely.

Keep some measure of preload on the spring. The more preload, the harsher the ride because of no travel. Just don't let the thing flap around.

haha yeah i dont mean slammed like on the ground, i just want to eliminate most wheel gap and accentuate the car's downward body angle.

when you lose that wheel gap watch where your tires hit the fenders. if you have wide tires that is.
