I researched what I can. Some people said no but gave a theory as to why it would not fit.
Also - while the spring may fit on the strut assembly, it may be a different spring rate designed for the sedan's specific strut. This could cause premature wear ... would be to do a little bit more shopping for some springs that are 100% made for your coupe. Don't get caught ...
Does that sound about right? ^

There's a guy on the Nissan Club forum (maybe he's on here too) selling his sedan springs and told me sedan springs will fit the coupe. So now I'm kind of stumped. Sorry for making another thread back to back, but if I'm gonna get these, I gotta make sure I don't screw myself over. ;) Thanks again guys.

The Sedan doesn't weigh the same as the Coupe, so I don't think it is a good idea to put them on your car (my theory).
I don't think it's a good idea to buy something you're not sure if will fir on your car, especially for a crucial part of your car,the suspension.
Just buy the ones designed for your car so you don't regret it later

It will fit but that statement about strut wear could be true. It's similar to how lowering springs supposedly wear down OEM struts

Ok so basically what I'm gathering here is that they are the same size, but the material of it all is different for each platform?

Not quite. They might be different sizes which may cause the struts to wear differently than they would with the correct springs

Ok, I'll just get the real deal. Better to be safe than sorry. Any other input is always welcome.

i wouldn't do it, just because the sedan/coupe have different part #s. if they were the same part, they would have the same #. i'm not saying it's 100% sure that they will won't work, but they might have some kind of detrimental effects in the future. or maybe not, who knows lol.

He just got back to me and confirmed they wont fit. I kinda figured it would be too good to be true. Well, at least there is an official thread incase anyone wants to find out whether sedan springs will fit ;)
