Hey guys , whats up! Hanging out at Will's house Sunday was pretty cool! Did everything finally work out with the install! Hey Alan thanks for the timing check and the muffler! TOO BAD MY TRANNY DOESNT WORK...haha brent funny joke! Ill fill you in on what happened...in neutral the car is really in reverse, wheels go backwards and everything, in 1st the reverse lights stay on and the wheels wont even spin and the engine will stall, it does the same for second, and it wont even go into 3rd,4th,5th or reverse so basically I am S.O.L. untill I'm able to talk to the guy that sold it to me

Im stuck with the daily dirver (1997 Chevy Malibu!!!) Oh yeah!!Ill be pickin up the ladies in that pimp mobile ( i call it the cruisin malibu

) Anyways I just talked to the guy that sold it to me and we decided that it was damaged in shiiping cause he said it was in perfect condition (no crack on the bellhousing or damaged mounts and such) so he is going to contact the shipping company cause he insured it so that I can get my money back...ill fill you all in as i go! Good day!

ya, if we get to keep the ****ty one, then we will take it apart to see what kind of damage we can do to it as far as rebuilding it and selling it. We will just use my old tranny (the one that works somewhat properly) to have professionaly rebuilt. Thanks so much for the help guys!

That sucks Will! Sorry that sh#t happened to you! Don't worry your not the only one that has bad luck sometimes! I went to have my AC fixed over the Summer and ended up with $1800 worht of damage to my car! Hence the big *** dent under the gas tank!

Eric, man im impressed, you and will got that tranny back out in 15 minutes. next time itll probably be 10. im still trying to get info on the close ratio 1-3 gears. when i find something, ill let you know.

Will, I answered your mail but maybe you missed it. The shift forks are out of alignment, very common during shipping. Pull the case off and line them back up, takes less than 20 minutes. I had one like that once. You can use an FSM to make it easier, but it's obvious after you open it up.

Russ, we yanked out the used trans, and Will said he yanked off the cover, and it looked messed up to him, he still has the trans, but UPS is gonna pick it up tommorrow, and its labeled as damaged during shipment, so he's getting his money back.

thx russ, but the tranny goes back to gorge tomorrow. what do you think about the nismo short range 1-3 gears for the tranny? Yay or Nay? Cause Im Just going to rebuild the one I got now so I figured why not upgrade it! I didnt get your e-mail, but thx for the info!

eric, piss off. We finally, after 2 weeks of having wills car on jack stands, finished the job at 4:00 saturday morning. Me and Will, Mike and Shields. Eric, it was like the first time we ever tried to get your tranny back into your car "no wait; go back, lift up. actually i fixed it! read above and it says, i realligned the shifting fork somehow...i dont know how i did it, but i did...haha!
