Does anyone think I will have any clearance problems with this combination? If so, would it make sense to get any spacers and what size would give me the best chance of no issues?
Stock is 47mm. 7mm difference between stock rim and new rim equates to about .5 inch. Stock tires are 245s also. so no additional space taken for tire width. Am I correct in saying the only clearance issues I would have is if I dont have an extra .5 inch of clearance (to compensate for the -7mm difference in rim offset) between the stock rim/tire and the fender?
I think you will be okay with 40mm offset, but make sure that the overall tire diameter is similar to the OEM size to avoid fender contact on bumps. I would not suggest using spacers, since that will make the "problem" of fitment worse!
