I'm about to buy 4 R32 GTS calipers and I just want to make sure it'll fit my 91 240sx hatch. I the caliper is 30mm thickness.

I heard these calipers are the same as Z32 TT 30mm. So when buying rotor, do I shop for R32 or Z32 rotor? and what SS brake line work with these. I'm also looking for E-brake line also. Thanks

Wow. Search button is your friend ^ it even blinks!

I have z32 30mm Aluminum calipers and normally to use the e-brake you'll need a bunch of parts from the Z's rear hubs. not sure about the r32 but I'm sure its pretty much the same caliper.

All I did was get:1. z32 Calipers F&R2. SPL 240sx to 300zx conversion stainless conversion brake lines3. z32 caliper Rebuild Kit4. CNC Hydraulic Staging Brake5. Enjuku Spacers 5mm (so my OEM 7 spokes can clear the z brakes)6. Pads and redrilled 5 to 4 lug rotors.

This probably wont help you much but that huge search button on top has the combined knowledge of what I think was maybe 40-50 z32/r32 brake threads. If d!ck stops in he will leave you a link to a helpful thread.

thanks for the reply, I have couple questions.

why do you need the hydraulic staging brake?Do I need rebuild kit if my caliper already comes with the clips and brackets and stuffs?

I didn't swap hubs for the Cable e-brake. the staging brake is used as a replacement for the cars hand brake system but now as it is hydraulic it is faster requires less effort and I didn't have to spend 3 hours pulling parts off of the Z just to use the back brakes.

You dont need to rebuild the calipers but they could be ranging anywhere from 12 years old to 15 so the boots around the caliper pistons might be bad, its really just all the gaskets. inspect your brakes after you buy them to make sure they wont require a rebuild but honestly the rebuilding isn't hard, you can repaint the calipers themselves while doing so, and its not expensive.so its like this-/+ 12 year old brake calipers < Freshly Rebuilt R32 calipers

so I'm thinking of getting the ichiba 5lugs hub front/rear and swap it in with the brake. Will that work? I don't need the z32 spindle right?

For the rear, will the 5lugs conversion work with stock z32 ebrake assembly? thanks

I believe you need the hub's for the e-brake.. because of it being e-brake shoe inside of rotor and disk brakes for the foot brakes.

zerothread?id=252989That will help you find out all the information, I didn't do a text book swap so I can't answer all your questions.

sorry, this is offtopic, but is that correct that the 7 spoke alloys(i understand there's two types, im talking about the one with better clearance) with 5mm spacers will clear z23 30mm calipers? please tell me thats true.

I have the 7 spokes that will clear 26mm Z brakes.. the issue is I have 30mm Z brakes. I'm not sure if they will fit for sure but IIRC I read somewhere on this forum by searching that 5mm "might" help the 7 spokes clear the 30mm.

Yes I have 30mm z32 brakes not installed

the 7 spoke's that clear z brakes will only clear 26mm z32 Calipers. whether or not 5mm slip on spacers will allow them to fit is something I'm waiting to find out on my own this friday when my spacers come in.

but your just looking for a quick answer.
