hey everyone my girlfriend just bought a new car is a 93 altima but its got the fwd ka24de.. its not running at all if you press on the gas it will bog down and die... and when you first start it it will idle but jump around from 700 to 1000 for a few minutes. after that it will start up for about 3 seconds then die.. the plugs are dark and oily and it smells like gas like its got too much fuel. anyone have any idea why this is? i've been checking for vaccuum leaks and maybe a bad fuel pressure regulator...i don't know what else..its not throwing codes... any ideas?

aside from the spark plugs try to check the nissan fuel injector it may not be working properly or its broken and eventually make your car stall.Be sure to have it checked regularly and look for old parts that needs replacement because proper maintenance help would help u a lot.
