i dont know what i did in life to deserve this but i cant get my car to idle after i.......

1. replaced all gaskets and seals
2. bord cylenders .020 over with stock but over sized pistons
3. shaved heads (only enough to clean them up)
4. full stainless sleel exhaust from front to back
5. jim wolf technology stage 3 500 cams from import parts pro
6. egr delete
7.AIG delete
8.throttle body water coolant delete.
9. brand new injectors and connecters (cleaned fuel rail)
10. brand new water temp sensor and connecter
11. brand new fuel temp sensor
12. AAC unit has been completly removed, disassebled, checked and tested cleaned set and put back together and reatached, same with air regulator
13. brand new pcv valves
14. i have 3 groud wires attached to the plenum in the back.
15. did compression test and is good
16. is deff. getting good fuel pressure
17. removed both throttle chambers cleaned very well re-assembled with new gaskets and yes even put both back in sycronization.
18. brand new stock ngk plugs.
19. just got done doing the timing belt and yes this time counted the cogs and still no differant.
20. ohned ignition coils and all getting 1.4 (yes i know it calls for .07 but if the car runs and there all getting that im guessing there good.
21. set TPS at .4 volts i did this with the car NOT running how much of a differance does this make
22. tested my PTU it took me like an hour of studying the manual but finally figured out how to test it, it seems to be ok im getting some readings however all diff. kinds of numbers.
23. ECU code (55) = no errors

i have to hold the throttle a good 1/4 of the way just to keep it idling at about 1000rpms and even then its a little shakey and when i hit the throttle it hesitates bad ......iv been doing some reading does anyine think it might be the mass air flow meter?????...........please help if you can and thank you

id try this: let it die. take out a few plugs and see if they are wet.
replace: Mass air flow sensor, plugs, coil packs, injectors.

i have seen people buy store brand coil packs and they dont work even as brand new.

Run the car let it die like Imstricken said, then check the ECU for codes. If the MAF is bad it will show in the ECU. Also make sure you have the correct MAF N62 should be the number on it.

Are you absolutely sure the injector plugs are for the correct injectors? It is very easy to mix 5&6 and 3&4. Coil plugs are a little more difficult to mix, but can be done.

Have you checked for Vacuum leaks?

No freak I'm not sure there in the right locations there is a good chance they might be mixed up but what's the. Best way to find out where they are supposed to be and this might sound like a stood question but what exactly is a vacuum leak? Is it basically anywhere where the engine might be sucking in air where it's not supposed to?? ...... Thanks alot again

check the intake and all the hoses attached to it. thats were you will find a vacuum leak.
check every elbow of every hose. a loose in pressure will cause idle problems constantly. BUT FIRST START WITH A NEW MAF!!!! :)

ok here is what i just found out for the hell of it i unplugged my MAF and started the car and it actually idleing around 1000 rpms and did that for a while untill i shut it off however throttle response still bad.....BUT when i plugged the MAF in while it was running it would instintly die ............but while the car was running i was able to set the timing (w a timing light) and actually got a good reading 15 degrea before TDC and also adjusted the TPS to .45 volts althou when i unplugged AAC and tried to adjust the idle scew nothing changed no idle up or down........does this sound like a bad MAF to anyone?? thanks for reading

just my theory but... adjusting the idle screw might not have done anything because while the MAF was unplugged, the ecu wasn't metering the air in order to run, it was just running off the TPS. go ahead and get a new MAF
