i need the crossmember for and rb20 swap, what chassis can i use this from?gauge cluster or something to make my tach accurate?ecu... what models can i use?radiator and electric fans... what models?water pump.. what models?and by changing the crossmember is there anything else i will need to change to have the motor in? also i read in a thread that the con to an rb20 is an akward intake manifold and alot of people have custom ones made, how is it akward and whats the most likely reason to have a custom one. its going in an s13 240

oh and where can i get the parts at that i will need, i looked on ebay and there was an r34 ecu and a crossmember for an fj20 motor, those wont work right? and ss auto chrome manifolds...****ty right?

people correct me where im wrong

why do u need rb20 crossmember? use stock s13 crossmemberget someone to wire your stock cluster to work properly? i think this carl H guy does wiring services and "everyone" seems to trust himget stock rb20 ecu im sure its not extremely hard to finduse a s13 radiator, whether aftermarket or stock cuz they have similar connection points I believe, might need new hose, big deal!have u seen an rb20? if u look very "hard" at the top of the motor u will see the intercooler piping crossing over the engine to the exhaust side connecting to a side mount intercooler heading back to the turbo and well does it not seem awkward to you?try a local shop. sounds crazy but u might find one that can get u stuffoh and look at nismoparts.com or people sell stuff here just look a little more and a little harder and dont give up

fyi people might not really like u asking questions like this so i would pick my questions wisely. if u look at the sticky up top by kamin some of his info might really help u.

umm im no expert so take what i wrote as u will

post in the classified for the x-member or check freq on ebay. there is a post on here bout being able to get the stock tach to read almost dead on. you could also by a tach from lsauto i believe but not 100% on the name of the place. talk to carlh on the ecu decision he can chip one for you. most people use koyo radiators and fans or up to you imo. i think any rb water pump will fit. someone else will help you further i'm tired bed time.

first of all. dont buy the motor if it's not a complete motorset or front clip. or else you'll be in for a good time search for the basic parts that should have come with the purchase. what's wrong w/ the intake manifold? it's designed like that for the side-mount. base from your questions, you need a lot more reading to do.

durh, use the s13 xmember if u're using custom mounts. use the rb cross member if using mounts that come stock w/ the rb motor.

it take one wire to get signal to the tach, READ THE STICKY!!!!

sorry for the stupid question, i looked at a few threads anbout pros and cons and also what i will need, tried searching but it seemed endless reading to find out a quick answer. the guy putting it end told me he can get everything cheaper for me than me getting the motor and then nickle and diming to find other parts, so thatnks for everyones help for me to decide on a motor, maybe soon i can get track times and dyno sheets when it warms up. than i can become a true nico member!!!
