Will my stock tires fit on new rims?

My 2005 G35 has the staggered 19" inch rims. From what I could find, I think the stock front rim is 19x8 and the back is 19X8.5. The tires I have on the front now are 225/40/19's and back is the 245/45/19.

I'm looking to buy 2, 19x8.5 rims for the front and 2, 19 x9.5 for the back.

Would anyone be able to tell me if I am good to go?

I'm trying not to buy new tires since the tires that are on the car only have about 5,000 miles on them.

Thanks,
Tom

Yes, they should fit without much of an issue, just may look a little 'stretched'. And would want wider tires when you buy some.

Thanks Biggie. Would you happen to know if going with an 8.5 inch width all the way around would cause any problems with the VCS or anything else?

The fronts look kind of stretched already.

Thanks Again for your help man!

All around shouldn't really mess with VDC, on a RWD car the VDC is only looking at the 2 rear wheels to see if they are turning equally.

I made that discovery after having to put on a spare in the rear.

Wow, Didn't know that about the VDC. Looks like I'll be going with 8.5's all the way around.

I bent a rim on I-95 up there in NC.. It's getting old having to air up the tire twice a day

There are place that can fix a wheel (usually around $100 per wheel).

I-95 sucks, as do most interstates in NC.
