I'm just starting out with modifying my car and I got some 18x10 XXR 521's for really cheap. Will I have a problem because they're so wide? My car is stock hight and I'm looking at 255/40R18 tires...

Okay thanks! because all the measurement websites I've used say they'll stick out of the fender about 2 inches and I was pretty sure it wouldn't be to much of a problem.

Saying they will fit is a little premature without knowing the offset.

Be careful when buying wheels with high positive offset, and when the wheels are 1" wider than the OEM wheels. Wheel rubbing isn't fun.

I finally got my rims on.. I ended up going with a Fuzion UHP 245/40R18 tire after talking with the guys at tire works. I like how the slight stretch looks although I was hesitant because I heard it might be dangerous. The mechanics said it should be fine so I went ahead and did it. I also plastidipped some parts and I'm really happy with how the car looks and now I can't wait to do some more modifications! Thanks for everyone's input and help!
