I have some 225/50/17 winter tires that are pretty much brand new! I would like to put them on my stock 2003 350z enthusiast wheels. I believe the stock wheels are 17x8.5. Will I run into any problems? I heard that some tires can cause the traction control light to some on?!!? Thanks!

The stock 350Z 17 inch wheels are 7.5" front and 8" rear. The tires will fit the wheels, and shouldn't rub, they're not much different than the oem size but I'd test fit the tires and crank the wheels all the way while I was close to home before going too far just to certain and save some unwanted downtime on the road.

If you run the 225/50's on all four wheels the VDC/TCS light will almost certainly light up since it won't be seeing the expected tire/wheel stagger.
