just wondering coz i got this sweet deal on 2 seadoo's and don't have a car to pull it. my moms car is a 07 camry so thats out of the question and she don't want me touching it, so just want to know will my 2001 be able to pull them if i add a tow kit to my car?

i wouldnt suggest it... you aint got a buddy you can borrow a truck from.. or an SUV... down here in TX EVERY family has a truck

yea but i don't feel like asking help from other ppl, i was thinking about trading my max for a QX4 or what ever the infinity SUV is but it's ugly maybe i'll buy some truck for cheap just for the summer

I don't think your transmission would last very long if you used your Maxima for that. It is probably going to be beyond the maximum tow capacity. I imagine it is only 500 to 1,000 lbs.

As for the QX4, I own a 2001 and it has been very reliable, but the mpg sucks. I get like 16 mpg.

I would recommend buying an older truck like a Nissan hardbody or a Toyota. They should be able to pull two wave runners fine, get decent mpg and have a bit of resale value in case you want to sell it later.

How far is it to water??? If you are looking at short hops and loading, you can probably get away with it. Out here, there a more hills to contend with. Add another vehicle, you can never have too many...--Mike

My friend has an 87 or an 88 pathfinder thatll tow anything and thatll mud better than anything... find you one of those in decent shape and you are set...

yea i guess i will buy a cheap tuck thought it'll be nice to save some $$ by adding a tow on the max, the water is not that far i live in cape cod but yea i won't gamble with it thanks for the input
